Celia and I are sad to leave the beautiful Island of Lombok, but we know going to Gili T will not disappoint. The three Gili islands (Gili Air, Gili Trawangan, and Gili Meno) are known for their crystal clear waters to scuba, snorkel, and experience island vibes.

Travelers can navigate Gili Trawangan by horse carts and bicycles. No motor scooters or cars are on the island, how cool is that?! The whole island can be seen in just under 2 hours, I highly recommend hiring bikes (around $5) and exploring beachside cafes and lounge chairs. People from all over the world flock to this little paradise for its well known party atmosphere. But I think its the abundance of sea turtles and epic sunsets that lure tourists.

** CURRENT NEWS** Lombok and the Gili islands are experiencing devastating earthquakes over the last few months. These islands do not have the infrastructure or resources to provide enough aid to its people. More than 500 casualties are on record and this number will increase. They need supplies and aid.
